A Visual Journey: Capturing the Heart of our foundation
Our foundation will be joining forces with the City of Dallas Arts and Culture and the Joppa community for a day of celebration, reflection, and unity, commemorating Juneteenth, and Texas's enduring legacy of freedom.
On Friday, March 21, 2025, the Joppa CAV Foundation partnered with Ms. Sanchez, Guest and Volunteer Service Coordinator, to donate personal hygiene products and non-perishable items for patients undergoing extensive medical procedures at Parkland Hospital. We are thrilled about our collaboration with Parkland Hospital and eagerly anticipates future opportunities to work together!
Our foundation partnered with the City of Dallas, the Joppee Neighborhood Association, the Grand Prairie chapter of the NAACP, and the Young Musicians of Dallas to celebrate the 2024 Annual Juneteenth in Joppa Celebration! This year's "Global Theme" embraces the diversity of nationalities now represented in Joppa.
The foundation partnered with American Legion Auxiliary Unit No.511, and Red River No. 276, Prince Hall Affiliated, Louisiana Jurisdiction, to contribute clothing for homeless veterans and families in need through the "PHILL" the box program.
The Joppa CAV Foundation is proud and energized to continue serving the communities of Southern Dallas County, standing strong in support of veterans and their families.

Foundation collaborated with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 511, to host an Easter Celebration for the Oak Cliff community, veterans, and their families. The event featured food, drinks, an Easter Egg Hunt, and games for all attendees.

Easter Celebration Brings Joy to Oak Cliff Community On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the Joppa CAV Foundation partnered with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 511 to host a vibrant Easter Celebration for the Oak Cliff community, local veterans, and their families. The event offered a day of fun and connection, featuring delicious food, refreshing drinks, exciting games, and a festive Easter Egg
